Letchworth Community Hub Re-Launch: Thurs 15th August 2019

Welcome to the Community Hub!

This is the Re-Launch of the Community Hub with a new look!

The day will run from 10am to 4pm in the Main Hall at the Mrs Howard Memorial Rooms.

Teas and coffees will be provided and there will be stalls from local businesses and services sharing their knowledge.

We will have presentations from several speakers, beginning with an introduction from your Community Hub host and sponsor, Emma Jaynes from Positive Ways, on the topic of the day and followed by speakers from business and community organisations, sharing their perspectives on the theme of Community Sustainability and Health.

In between, there will be a chance to network with other businesses and members of the local community.

What is the Community Hub?

We know that when people are connected with other people in their communities, they thrive. In fact, community connection is a vital nutrient for human survival.

In order to function in an effective way, communities must consider their ‘people, profits and planet’. In other words, we must take care of ourselves and others, ensure that we are able to support ourselves economically through business, and look after our environment. However, Mutuality and Purposefulness are both essential for Community survival and thrival and encircle the 3 Ps pervading all aspects of community health and sustainability.

These are the areas that we focus on in our community endeavours and the reason why we wish to grow the hub within our local communities and focus in community health and sustainability.

Stallholder tickets are £30 and include promotion of your business or service on marketing materials and posts.
